Leapfrog Geothermal 3.9 is out now! This release integrates geostatistical analysis with your geothermal workflow with the introduction of the new Leapfrog Edge module. This release also coincides with the new Data Room in Seequent Central.

    • Carry out experimental variography on your well or point data and construct variograms to create estimation models to integrate into your geothermal workflow.
    • Leapfrog Edge has the industry standard tools you need most, arranged into a streamlined, intuitive and highly visual environment.
    • An active Leapfrog Edge licence will enable geostatistics functionality within Leapfrog Geothermal 3.9.

ALL NEW CENTRAL PORTAL WITH DATA ROOM

    • Users and administrators see and manage all your Central projects from a web browser on any device.
    • The brand new Data Room in your Central projects enables you to upload, version and download model and data files from any source via the portal.
    • Apply Central’s single source of truth philosophy of best practise for management of all your geoscience or geospatial data files that aren’t already managed in other systems

WELLS & GIS FUNCTIONALITY

    • Wells: Negative value handling is now available on downhole well graphs.
    • GIS: Draped GIS objects are now organised according to the GIS object organisation.

USABILITY ENHANCEMENTS

    • Polylines: You can now hide polyline tangents while editing. Polyline points and ribbon size can be displayed in real-world or pixel units. The default is to display based on pixel size to assist with the polyline editing user experience.
    • Polar stereonets with equal area (Schmidt) or equal angle (Wulff) projections to analyse geotechnical trends.
    • Statistics are now available on all types of points.
